Beaches in Argentina
The Atlantic coast and down in the Southern region in Argentina is where the country’s most beautiful beaches are located and where Argentines and visitors alike visit every year to soak up the sun, enjoy the sandy beaches, engage in beach and water sports, and just relax with friends and family.
Buenos Aires – Atlantic Beaches
The province of Buenos Aires stretches all the way from the Rio de la Plata, which separates the city of Buenos Aires from the southern part of Uruguay, all the way down to where the region of Patagonia starts and the waters become cooler and the land more barren. From north to south, the coastline is decorated with beach, forests, sand dunes, and ocean waters, each differentiating slightly in landscape, climate, water currents, and seasons. In this area of the Atlantic Ocean, depending on the time of the year, the ocean waters come down from Brazil, bringing warm currents to the beach side waters in Argentina, making the beach resorts a popular destination for vacationers.
